Janet Grabner graduated in 1989 with distinction from the ceramics program at the Alberta College of Art and Design (AUARTS) in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

    Janet met John Dahm when he took a pottery class that she taught in 1992.

   They married in 1994 and together  opened Caracol Clay Studio in the  badlands of Drumheller, Alberta.

     Inspired by the natural beauty in Alberta, they create hand built pottery for function and fun.
